1. Information We Collect
When you use SnapIt, we collect:
- Account information: Your display name and authentication provider (Apple ID or Google) when you create an account. We do not store your password.
- Completion logs: When you verify a task, the completion record (task title, category, timestamp, verification result, and score) is stored on our servers to calculate streaks, accountability scores, and leaderboard rankings.
- Scheduled habits: Your mission schedules (times, days, proof types) are stored locally on your device only and are never sent to our servers.
- Photos: Photos you take for verification are sent to our AI service for real-time analysis, then immediately discarded. Photos are stored locally on your device only and are never uploaded to or stored on our servers.
- Device information: Basic device identifiers for authentication and push notifications.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the SnapIt service
- To verify task completion using AI photo analysis
- To calculate streaks, scores, and leaderboard rankings
- To send you scheduled alarm notifications
- To improve the app experience
3. AI Photo Verification
When you snap a verification photo, the image is sent to our AI service for analysis. The AI determines whether the photo matches your scheduled task. We do not store these images on our servers — they are processed in real-time and discarded. Photos remain stored locally on your device only.
4. Third-Party Services
- Supabase: Authentication and database services (hosted in the EU).
- Google Gemini (AI): Photo verification processing. Images are sent to Google's Gemini Flash API for real-time analysis and are not retained by Google beyond the processing request.
- RevenueCat: Subscription and payment management.
- Apple Push Notification Service: Alarm and reminder notifications.
5. Data Retention
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated server data directly from the app (Settings > Delete My Account) or by using our contact form. Local data (mission schedules, photos) is removed when you uninstall the app.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication tokens, and row-level security on our database.
8. Children's Privacy
SnapIt is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
