1. Information We Collect
When you use SnapIt, we collect:
- Account information: Email address and display name when you create an account.
- Habit data: Your scheduled snaps, completion logs, streaks, and accountability scores are stored to provide the service.
- Photos: Photos you take for verification are processed by AI to confirm task completion. Photos are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers for storage.
- Device information: Basic device identifiers for authentication and push notifications.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the SnapIt service
- To verify task completion using AI photo analysis
- To calculate streaks, scores, and leaderboard rankings
- To send you scheduled alarm notifications
- To improve the app experience
3. AI Photo Verification
When you snap a verification photo, the image is sent to Google's Gemini Vision API for analysis. The AI determines whether the photo matches your scheduled task. We do not store these images on our servers — they are processed in real-time and discarded. Photos remain stored locally on your device only.
